The Breast Warrior Support Group of Wallowa County would like to begin an endeavor of raising money to support those in Wallowa County going through the thought journey of Breast Cancer. SATURDAY, October 19, 2024 10am- 4pm, Silent Auction 10am-2:30pm, and Live Auction 2pm-3pm
The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture is thrilled to host the 42nd Wallowa Valley Arts Festival in Joseph, Oregon from Sept. 20-22, 2024. If you haven’t been to Joseph, this year would be the year to participate and visit our beautiful town. Artist applications will be online through July.

Oregon Humanities is accepting proposals for its Community Storytelling Fellowships. In 2024, a total of six fellowships will be awarded, with three reserved for storytellers living in rural communities.
A community exploration through art, science, and story-telling, of how Wallowa County and NE Oregon communities and landscapes are changing, from climate’s influence, to human and wild populations, to scenery, landscape and health... and what those changes mean to us. Deadline extended to September 1!
The festival is the largest juried fine art exhibition in Eastern Oregon, featuring representational realism as well as contemporary art from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Every year the Josephy Center celebrates Wallowa County’s natural beauty through a Wild Landscape Exhibit - this year we want to celebrate the beauty and the diverse landscape of what we colloquially refer to as "the North Country".
If you are a former student of Enterprise High School Art Teacher Gary Wishart (1976-2002)? and/or Gary’s brother, Larry Wishart, who taught elementary and junior high art, we want you! Submit current or recent artwork for consideration for the “Wishart” exhibit at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, May 27th-July 22nd, 2023.
All School Age Wallowa County Youth Are Invited To Apply. Artwork will be judged in the following categories: K-1st; 2nd-3rd; 4th-6th; Junior High; High School. Each participant will receive1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place Ribbon. People’s Choice, Judge’s Choice and Director’s Choice will receive special recognition. All Artwork must be received by 5pm April 18th!
JCAC is excited to bring back our annual Women's Art Exhibit for 2023. The theme for Women's History Month 2023 is "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories ." We invite artists to submit artwork to our call - it can follow this theme or can be open to artists work that want to be apart of the Women's Art Show without be constricted to a theme.

Well, after two years of isolation and unprecedented challenges, we are looking ahead with anticipation and excitement - as this is certainly a time to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts! We are looking forward to seeing YOU, our ever-growing family of artists, and enjoy your company in beautiful Joseph, Oregon, next September 10-18, 2022.
This exciting annual event features a wonderful display of artwork, lots of awards ribbons, hands-on activities, and musical performances by area youths.
