Join Alison Curry of Blue Mountain Crocheted Creations to learn crochet! Students will learn how to hold yarn, control tension, and some basic stitches and hopefully by the end of the class make an African granny square.
Join our very own seasoned intern Olivia Butzein for this Intro to Pen & Ink class! This class is meant to build your confidence in art and teach you how to capture an image without having to erase. Students will learn new techniques and have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of black and color pens, as well as various papers with different qualities.
This three day camp offers kiddos an opportunity to get acquainted with all things textile, including knitting, crocheting, weaving, and some hand dyeing techniques using natural plant based materials.Â
Join us for an afternoon of painting abstracts with Cheryl Coughlan. Using a 16″ x  20″ canvas students learn techniques of how to put paint on the canvas, composition and more. Ages 11-17!
We are offering a fun opportunity before and during the concert to make Fruit Inspired Art for Little Works - Our Annual Youth Art Fundraiser Exhibit!
Study a range of techniques with water colorist and instructor Crystal Newton, creating texture in your paintings and expanding your range of material understanding with watercolor ground, metallic paints, mediums and solutions.
Students will learn slab, coil and pinch construction techniques and various surface design techniques. Students will also learn about Ceramics in the larger world through videos etc.
Mary Ambroson, with over 35 years of experience teaching art & music, both in Montessori and conventional methods, will lead a fun and comprehensive 8 week class on the basics of drawing and painting for 5-8 and 8-12 year olds.
