    Join award-winning artist Bonnie Zahn Griffith for a dynamic, hands-on pastel workshop during the Wallowa Valley Arts Festival. In this engaging Sunday morning class, Bonnie shares her approach to landscape painting—focusing on composition, value, and expressive use of color—while guiding students through preliminary studies and underpainting techniques.     Sharol Chandler’s paintings are representations of landscapes throughout the western U.S.; however, her work has primarily focused on scenes in the Wallowa mountains of northeast Oregon where she has lived since 1976. During the last several years the Eagle Cap Wilderness has been of particular interest to her.
