The Josephy Center invites artists, writers and photographers to participate in our August exhibit celebrating
The Wild Landscape: Expanding Views of Eastern Oregon
Submissions due June 8, 2020 (extended from June 1)
In 2020, we will celebrate our sixth annual Wild Landscape exhibit. What is the concept of a wild landscape? It’s a space captured with no man-made objects: architecture, fences, people…Places like this are plentiful and diverse in our neck of the woods and our exhibit celebrates the continued existence of these beautiful vistas, rivers, mountains, prairies and more. From deep craggy rocks of Hells Canyon, to the wide expansion of the Zumwalt and beauty of mountainous views in the Eagle Cap. The theme is open to interpretation.
We invite you to participate in helping celebrate, educate and show your special works in our gallery and in an accompanying catalogue. Up to three works can be submitted by June 8, 2020. Please do not submit work previously shown in past Josephy Center exhibits. Notification of acceptance will be sent by June 10. Exhibit ready works will be sent or brought to the Josephy Center by noon, July 29. Exhibit opening reception is Friday July 31 at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded this year.
Please email submissions to Megan Wolfe: email@example.com
