Call to Artists: Wild Landscape – Zumwalt Revisited
The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture invites artists to submit work for Wild Landscape – Zumwalt Revisited, the next installment in our annual Wild Landscapeseries celebrating the natural beauty of Wallowa County.
This year’s focus is on the Zumwalt Prairie, the largest remaining bunchgrass prairie in the Pacific Northwest and a treasure of Eastern Oregon’s ecosystem. We invite artists to capture the vastness, solitude, and vibrant life of this extraordinary landscape in any medium.
Artists are encouraged to join us for a field trip to the Zumwalt Prairie (June 13th) to explore the area while the wildflowers are in bloom—an opportunity to sketch, photograph, and gather inspiration for this exhibition. Field trip
