When you volunteer at the Eagle Cap Extreme Sled Dog Race, you get a front-row seat to the incredible partnership between mushers and their dogs. From pre-race preparations to checkpoints along the course, volunteers hear amazing stories, meet incredible people (and dogs!), and play a vital role in making this one-of-a-kind event happen.

• Pre-Race Vet Checks: Wednesday, January 21
• Race Start: Thursday, January 22
• Awards Reception: Saturday, January 24

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include

• Race Central (Joseph): Communications, Merchandise
• Ferguson Ridge Ski Area (“Fergie”): Race Start, Communications, Timing, Vet Team
• Salt Creek Summit (Trail): Communications (ham radio experience welcome)
• Ollokot Checkpoint: Checkpoint Crew, Cook, Medic, Vet Team
• Trail Crew: Snowmobile support
