Nikki Beachy

I am a part of 3 generations of skilled women artists who love to explore many mediums and perpetually create (and trade!)   My grandmother, an oil painter, my mother, a stain glass and jewelry artist, my aunt, a ceramicist, and my sister, a skilled tanner and leatherworker.  I began painting continuously at the age of 12, and worked with my family to observe their chosen trades as well.  I find my connection to nature and an educational background in linguistics, anthropology, and ecology inform my work.  I enjoy creating with inks, watercolors, and glass, but am curious to a fault and prone to become interested in practicing anything if the time is right.  I like to laugh and enjoy the process of creation; The relationships it nourishes across all mediums.  I hope to see you soon.
