Exhibit Judge: Seth Kinzie
Seth Kinzie is a piano composer and peacemaker from Joseph, OR. He writes music for the instrumental octet, Kinzie Steele, for piano, drums and strings. Inspired by the surreal impressions of Claude Debussy and the textured voicings of psychedelic rock, his compositions sail freely through genres to expand the piano outside of its traditional classical and jazz settings. He is also the Director of the African Peacemaking Database, based in Malawi and Ethiopia. His interfaith vocation has led him to work in Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Malawi, Ethiopia, France, and Austria.
He has won 4 consecutive Wallowa County Backgammon Championships, and he also loves cribbage and Wingspan.
