New dates TBA soon. Please check back in later.

Visiting artist and Choctaw Tribe member Roger Amerman takes students on a two day journey of art and culture with lessons on how to construct a Buckskin Tobacco Bag-coupled with partial accessory contour beadwork and special pony bead brick edge beadwork while examining color, contrast, and texture. Learn the basics of applique and edge beading with smaller seed glass beads as well as larger pony beads. Students leave with either a beaded neck bag with thongs, or a folded and wrapped small intimate bag that one carries or stores in a pocket or purse. Class fee includes all supplies. Bring your own design or choose one of Roger’s.
