The Life of Alvin Josephy

March 23 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Alvin,.  Patricia, & Sean together

On Thursday night, March 23, at 7:00 p.m., Sean Cassidy will be at the Josephy Center to show a film on the life and career of Alvin Josephy.

Two decades ago, Sean Cassidy and Patricia Keith, two professors from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, put together 55 hours of video tape interviews with and about Alvin Josephy. They distilled it into less than one hour, and showed it at an annual Western History Association meeting–where Alvin had once served as president. It was well received, but there was not enough money or interest to make a Public Television presentation.

The Josephy Center now has all 55 hours of interviews, and we are busy building the online indexes that will make it possible for you to go to them to hear Alvin on World War II, or Stewart Udalll on Alvin.

Come whet your appetite. Admission is by donation.
