Exciting Changes to the Youth Arts Festival!
At The Josephy Center, we celebrate the process of making art just as much as the final masterpiece! This year, we’re making a small but meaningful change to how we recognize our young artists:
All participants will receive a special festival sticker to honor their creativity and hard work.
Students in grades 7-12 will be eligible for ribbons as they refine their artistic skills and techniques.
This shift reflects our belief that art is a journey, and every young artist—whether finger-painting or crafting a detailed portrait—deserves encouragement and thoughtful conversation about their creative process.
When you visit the exhibit, take a moment to ask a young artist about their work—the inspiration, the challenges, the joy of making. Let’s celebrate their artistic voice at every stage!

We are also looking for volunteers for this event! We will need help with sorting and hanging all of the art work April 9th and 10th. Last year we had over 200 entries, so we could really use a hand or ten! Please email Dionne Vali at programs@josephy.org if you are available or click the link below. Thank you!
