Don’t miss the Opening Reception for Ingot to Art: The Saga of Bronze in Wallowa County
This stunning exhibit will celebrate the rich local history of bronze casting. Celebrate the opening of the exhibit on Friday evening, August 23 at 6:30 pm with live music, a no-host bar and BBQ.
This is a great opportunity to meet the artists and look at displays from local foundries, including Parks Bronze, Valley Bronze and TW Bronze. Notable artists will include Roger McGee, Rodd Ambroson, Tim Parks, Steve Parks, Bob Wilfong, Tim Norman, Lisa Arquette, Terri Malec and others.
On Tuesday evening, September 3 at 7:00, Live and Up Front will feature Roger McGee, Shelly Curtiss and Tim Norman. Roger will discuss the history of bronze foundries in Wallowa County. Shelly will talk about the process of bronze casting and Tim will give a patina demonstration.
Ingot to Art will be up from August 23-September 14.
