Calling all Farmers and Ranchers!
What: Call to Artists for the Livestock Art Show at the Josephy Center for Arts & Culture
When: Submission deadline – by midnight Friday December 1, 2023
Where: Submit up to 3 digital images to on the online form below
Artist Notification: December 7, via email
Art Delivery: January 3, 2-4pm to Josephy Center 403 N Main St. in Joseph
(Late entries will not be accepted. All works must have a wire from which to hang the piece.)
Exhibition: January 7- February 12
Exhibit Entry Fee: $5 per submission, FREE youth entry
Opening Reception: Sunday, January 7, 1-3pm
About: The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture is excited to bring you our first ever Livestock Art Show! We invite artists to submit work to our call for farm and ranch animals and any scenes or depictions of farm and ranch life. All forms of art are welcome for submission including but not limited to drawing, writing, poetry, multimedia, film, painting, collage, sculpture, welding, carving, leather work, etc. All works must be for sale. Commission for artists is 60% sales price. Monetary prizes will be awarded including:
- 1st place -$250
- 2nd place- $150
- 3rd place- $100
- Best Young Artist- $50
- People’s Choice- $50
