Capital Campaign Phase II

The Need

As an arts center in service to the community, we have a responsibility to ensure that we are well-positioned for a successful future marked by growth, inclusivity, and even greater artistic, educational and cultural impact.

The Josephy Center has been working towards the building acquisition and expansion since its inception. As our communities continues to flourish, the demand for our programs and services has grown exponentially. In order to continue meeting these needs and providing exceptional services, it is imperative that we embark on a building expansion project that will support the growth and development of our community for years to come.

Vision for the Community

The arts have always been a vehicle for connection, conversation, and social progress. Our plan is to build upon who we are and what we do to expand our programming, offerings, and impact.

After 10 years of growth in the same physical footprint, the expansion will dramatically improve the center’s programming. Additional class space and enhanced ceramics studio will support the Josephy Center’s intellectual, creative, and operational capacity, now and in the future. An ADA elevator and bathroom will provide increased access to second floor events, exhibits, classes, meeting spaces and the Library of Western History and Culture.
