INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Shanlee Cox is an artist and educator based in Bozeman, MT. In 2020, she graduated from Montana State University with a BA in Art Education focused in Printmaking. During her time as an undergraduate student, she discovered the importance of storytelling in both art and human development. Now, she continues her practice by creating work in a variety of mediums (including printmaking, bookbinding, tattoo, and ceramics) that depict her lived experiences and their lasting effects. Focusing on themes of monotony, dependency, and self-realization, Shanlee creates a narrative that honors both personal and universal experiences.
