Wild Landscape Opening Reception

Every year the Josephy Center celebrates Wallowa County’s natural beauty with an exhibit: The Wild Landscape of Eastern Oregon. One thing that makes Eastern Oregon special is preserved, untouched and undeveloped lands. Every year, JCAC highlights the diversity and splendor of our natural landscapes in art where no human-made objects or structures are portrayed. In the past we’ve covered the Zumwalt, the Lostine River, the Imnaha, and more. This year we celebrate the North Country: lands around the Grande Ronde and Joseph Creek canyons.
Come join us on Saturday, August 5 for an opening reception at 7pm with libations and hors d’oeuvres. Awards will be announced and were selected by our judge, local artist, and JCS Art Teacher Jenny Hawkins. The event is free, but donations are welcome. All art is for sale and the exhibit will be on display until September 9th. This exhibit has been made possible by regular and generous donations from Ann Werner.
Pianist Seth Kinzie will be providing music for the reception.
