Students will learn how to weave a traditional stake and strand willow basket. The process of weaving includes learning techniques and patterns alongside the freedom to explore personal style and creativity. Students will take home a round wicker basket woven by their own hands!
Healing Vessels were used in the late 20th century in rituals enacted by healer diviners to transfer the spirits of illness or trauma into a ceramic pot. We will be making our own Healing Vessels of earthenware and then fire them to create an alchemy of transformation into restoration and healing.

Join Roger Amerman in this workshop to learn the Construction of either a Small Medallion fashioned into a fringed neck piece with ornate thongs or a Small Ornate Partially Beaded Buckskin Neck Pouch. Workshop participants will learn the basics of applique and edge beading.
We will craft handmade envelopes and write letters and make art to put inside of the letters. Complete with candle wax seals and lots of magic, we will explore the history of letter writing and learn about all the things that can be sent through the mail.
Sticks and Stones! Shells and Bones! Mobiles are hanging sculptures that move freely in the air's invisible currents. They use the principles of weight, movement and balance to create cool special effects.
We will start the day with blind contour drawing. From there we will learn leaf rubbing, found natural object drawing from different perspectives and using leaves and flowers as stencils.
Join us for an evening of sipping wine(or other beverage of choice) and painting on a 30" x 30" canvas. Students learn various mark making techniques, composition and more. Bring beverages, snacks, and engage in lively conversation. Class concludes with a group critique. Beginners welcome.
Knitting is a craft practiced by people around the world. This class will focus on the fundamentals of knitting. We will learn how to hold the yarn, the basic knit stitch, the concept of tension and more!

Join our very own seasoned intern Olivia Butzein for this Intro to Pen & Ink class! This class is meant to build your confidence in art and teach you how to capture an image without having to erase. Students will learn new techniques and have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of black and color pens, as well as various papers with different qualities.
Join us for an afternoon of painting abstracts with Cheryl Coughlan. Using a 16″ x 20″ canvas students learn techniques of how to put paint on the canvas, composition and more. Ages 12-17!

Join Dona to learn the Fold Forming technique to create folds and texture into the metal. We will be working with hammers and torches to create these organic shaped earrings. Come, have some fun, and create a couple of pairs of earrings. We will be working in copper.
Join Alison Curry of Blue Mountain Crocheted Creations to learn crochet! Students will learn how to hold yarn, control tension, and some basic stitches and hopefully by the end of the class make an African granny square.
