An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until August 17, 2023

Artist and Instructor Pamela Beach teaches kids just what functional wares are and how their importance plays a role in our daily life; and have done so since humankind needed them, giving weight to the adage: “Necessity is the mother of Invention.” Following a short history kiddos will design and make their own functional wares using hand building techniques with clay that will ultimately be fired to a maturity of 2152° F. The last day of camp culminates with students glazing their works taking cues from their original drawings/design and the knowledge they’ve gathered over the last three days. Ages 7-10 only.
Dates for pickup of work will be posted week of camp.
