The Josephy Center Unveils a Winter Fusion of Art and Culture!

The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture is proud to announce a collaboration with event organizer Laura Skovlin, bringing a delightful Dance to kick off its’ inaugural Livestock Art Show. This exhibit is set to captivate audiences with a unique blend of visual arts and vibrant community festivities.

 

**Livestock Art Show Opening Reception: Sunday, January 7, 1-3 pm**

The Livestock Art Show, a celebration of the creativity of local farmer and rancher artists, will kick off with an Opening Reception on Sunday, January 7th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Josephy Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore an exquisite collection of art curated to authentically represent the farming and ranching lifestyle. Judged and curated by Crystal Newton, this exhibition promises to showcase the diverse perspectives of our community’s talented artists.

**Family Dance Fun at the Oddfellows hall in Enterprise: Saturday, January 6, 7-10 pm, $5 entry, children free**

Adding to the excitement, The Josephy Center, in collaboration with Laura Skovlin, presents a Dance at the historic Oddfellows hall in Enterprise on Saturday, January 6th, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. For just $5 entry, attendees will experience the lively tunes of musicians Robyn Burns on the fiddle, Caleb Samples on the fiddle, John Raines on the guitar, and Mike Burns on the upright bass. This spirited event promises an evening of laughter, dancing, and community camaraderie.

**Livestock Art Show Exhibition: January 7 – February 12**

The Livestock Art Show exhibition will run from January 7th to February 12th, providing ample time for the community to appreciate and engage with the showcased artwork.

**Monetary Prizes for Outstanding Artistic Achievements:**

In recognition of exceptional artistic contributions, the Livestock Art Show will award monetary prizes, 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Best Young Artist, and People’s Choice Award.
