Discover the art of drawing with instructor Rodd Ambroson, and learn basic skills that are the foundation for all other disciplines. Eight week session. Ages 14 and up.

In this class for 8-12 year olds, students focus on drawing & painting using a variety of mediums.
Young artists will create a wide diversity of forms using hand-building techniques. Class includes clay, glazes and firing. Preregistration is required.
Learn a few different cording techniques with Kolle Kahl Riggs, including thigh rolling and hand-twisting. Ages 12 and up.
Lower Snake River Dams - will be an evening presentation on May 18 at 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm.
A fun night for adults of abstract painting and sipping wine. A monthly event held on the third Wednesday of every month.

Mike is an author-illustrator of fiction and nonfiction graphic novels, including the Star Scouts series for First Second. He has also illustrated a middle grade novel. In addition to making comics, Mike has created several pieces of public art for his hometown of Portland, Oregon.

What is a wild landscape? One thing that makes Eastern Oregon so special is untouched and undeveloped landscapes. The Wild Landscape exhibit will celebrate Northern Wallowa County's diverse and wild lands. This means the landscape is the focal point, no human-made objects visible in the art works.
This year we will have special new musical element to the Youth Arts Festival. Admission is FREE but donations are appreciated.
Our annual Youth Arts Exhibit features work from Wallowa County students Kindergarten through 12th grade.
All School Age Wallowa County Youth Are Invited To Apply. Artwork will be judged in the following categories: K-1st; 2nd-3rd; 4th-6th; Junior High; High School. Each participant will receive1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place Ribbon. People’s Choice, Judge’s Choice and Director’s Choice will receive special recognition. All Artwork must be received by 5pm April 18th!
