An incredible opportunity for beginners and returning students in watercolor; painting practice is the path for exploring the compendium of watercolor rules & techniques. This is an eight-week session for ages 11-17.

We will craft handmade envelopes and write letters and make art to put inside of the letters. Complete with candle wax seals and lots of magic, we will explore the history of letter writing and learn about all the things that can be sent through the mail.
Sticks and Stones! Shells and Bones! Mobiles are hanging sculptures that move freely in the air's invisible currents. They use the principles of weight, movement and balance to create cool special effects.
We will start the day with blind contour drawing. From there we will learn leaf rubbing, found natural object drawing from different perspectives and using leaves and flowers as stencils.
Knitting is a craft practiced by people around the world. This class will focus on the fundamentals of knitting. We will learn how to hold the yarn, the basic knit stitch, the concept of tension and more!
